A. READING COMPREHENSION:

Sarah Cameron is a 15-year old girl from Scotland.
This is her letter from Elgin to a popular youth magazine.
First read her letter, then answer the questions.

1. Tick the right answer for each statement about the text.

true false not in the text
1. Elgin is Scotland´s greatest town.
2. Sarah is a perfect photographer.
3. Only teenagers are allowed to go to the Youth Cafe.
4. Elgin Cathedral was destroyed in a war.
5. Landshut is Elgin´s German twin town.
6. Scottish people say „Fit like“ to welcome you.

2. Sarah´s German friend, Katrin, is visiting Sarah in Elgin. This is her postcard to her parents.
But Katrin has got it all wrong !! There are three things about Elgin in her postcard which are
wrong! Try to find the mistakes and correct them.

Hallo Ihr!
